一つ一つ詳しく見ていきましょう。
1.早さ
飲食店の売上を上げるために重要な条件のひとつが「早さ」です。
注文してから料理が届くまでの時間が早いほど回転率が上がり、売上もアップします。お客様の満足度も高まります。
2.衛生面
飲食物を提供する以上、衛生面に対しては最大限の配慮は必要です。
厨房は湿気が多くなり、錆（さび）が発生しやすくなります。異物混入を防ぐために錆が発生しにくい環境にする必要があります。
3.運びたいものを運べるか
エレベーターに入れたいものは、どれくらいのサイズですか？お皿や飲み物など、様々なものを昇降できますが、それによりエレベーターのタイプは変わります。
まずは一度、どういう用途で使用するのかはっきりさせておくとよいでしょう。
小荷物専用昇降機（ダムウェーター）
「飲食店にエレベーターを設置したい」という希望のある多くのお客様に、小荷物専用昇降機（ダムウェーター）／コンパクトタイプ（ADC型）は採用されています。
なぜ、飲食店で多く採用されるのか？先ほどの選ぶポイントは「３つ」と合わせて確認していきましょう。
1.早さ
分速45mの高速運転ができ、１日に200回以上の運転が可能な能力を持っています。昼食、夕食のピーク時でも素早く運ぶことができます。
2.衛生面
全機種ともにカゴ・扉は、「さびにくい（耐食）」「溶けにくい（耐熱）」「劣化しにくい（耐酸化）」という特徴があるステンレス製です。
昇降路がステンレス製の機種も選択可能です。熱いスープも運ぶことができます。
3.運びたいものを運べるか
本体外寸法はW570mm×D570mmから選択できます。設置場所を取らない超コンパクト設計です。
コンパクトタイプ（ADC型）の種類によっては、ビールジョッキやディナー皿はもちろん、ビールサーバーや米袋、ばんじゅうなども運ぶことができます。
小荷物専用昇降機（ダムウェーター）の特徴
発進停止が滑らか
動くとき、止まるときの衝撃が少ないので、飲物をこぼすことなく運ぶことができます。
停止位置は一定
インバーター制御により、重い荷物を運搬しても停止位置は一定（＋－3mm）です。
取り外し簡単な棚板で３段に仕切ることができます
3段に仕切ることで一度に多くの料理、飲物、食器などを運ぶことができます。
棚板を付けても１段あたりの高さは約21cmですので、大きいサイズのビールジョッキも一緒に運べます。
昇降路工事が不要
コンパクトタイプ（ADC型）は外装一体型で昇降路工事が不要です。
据付工事は一日で完成し、その分、コストを下げることができ、低価格で提供しています。
安全設計
忙しい店内でも従業員が安全に使用できるように万全の安全対策が施されています。
安全装置の中でも特に重要な働きをする「扉感知装置」「外扉ロック装置」について解説します。
扉感知装置は、料理を入れるカゴの動きを制御します。この装置の働きにより、扉が開いている時は操作スイッチを押しても動かないようにします。身体が挟まる事故を防ぎます。
外扉ロック装置は、カゴが到着していない時、扉が開かないようにします。身体が挟まる事故、転落事故を防止します。
